Role Title: Electrical EngineerLocation: St James Square
Day Shift - 0700 till 1900 / 4 days off / late shift 1000 till 2200/ 4 days off.
Role PurposeStatic Electrical Service engineer for completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual service and PPM’s.Duties and Responsibilities
Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner.Completion of PPM and Reactive Tasks and update the electronic workflow system.Ensure that daily checks are completed and repair, report any defects found via the FM helpdesk.Identification of materials required to be ordered & installed in a timely manner.Comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.Timely implementation and recording of statutory inspections including accurate recording within their specified logbooks.Ensure that Specialist Service Provider worksheets are reviewed & signed off, the quality of work is inspected, and recommendations are escalated to the Supervisor.The Site team will ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping
Provide emergency response standby, call out. Escalate urgent issues identified through to the Technical Services Manager. Respond to work interruptions, outages or emergencies consistent with the SLA.Liaise with Clients representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks.
The Engineer will be expected to work, and trouble shoot all building systems but not be limited to the following:
Three Phase and Single Phase SystemsBuilding Management Systems & Electrical Monitoring.
HVAC SystemsAir Handling, Air Conditioning & Chillers.Pumps, Motors & Variable Speed Drive.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or similarBS 7671 18th editionC&G 2391 or equivalentPPM experienceExcellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.Have good IT and report writing skills.Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.Experience of operation of UPS, Standby Power and Critical Environment CoolingLOTO ExperienceHVAC experience (not essential)BMS experience (a Bonus)Corrigo knowledge (a Bonus)
