Database & Reporting Engineer

My client a market leading power, energy, and marine organisation are looking to build out their current data team with the acquisition of a new Database & Reporting Engineer. This role will see the successful candidate report into the Business Systems Manager whilst working on full project lifecycle database and reporting projects.This role will be based from my clients Aberdeen office, onsite for the probatory period (3 months). After this is will then transition to a hybrid role 3/2 split.All clients must have the relevant documents to work in the UK as sponsorship is not provided.Responsibilities:Databases in Microsoft SQL Server including OLAP-based reporting.Lifecycle management of SQL objects including queries, views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures.Business reporting in Excel and SSRS.Application databases and associated reporting.Maintenance and development of OLAP reporting and data warehouse and related ETL routines (SSIS / SSAS).Work with the business ensuring all reporting and database needs are met.Contribution to the execution of month end processing, systems maintenance, and related reporting.Contribution to related support.Requirements:Significant expreince in Database management & reportingExperience with SQL Server 2019 & 2022Data Warehouse implementations and maintenanceSSIS, SSRS, SSASAdvanced T-SQLIf the above role is of interest and you’ve got the required experience, apply with your most up to date CV for immediate consideration and interview!Alternatively, if you would like to find out more about the position, reach out to me on 0113 526 6892 or at
