SQL Database Developer - T-SQL, Performance Tuning, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Azure, DevOps, SQL Agent, SQL Server, VMWare
An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for a Database Developer to join a leading insurance organization in the London Market, currently undergoing a significant process and technology transformation. You will participate in a company-wide systems development project, continuous improvement, and BAU activities while collaborating with diverse teams, including Front-end Development, BI, Project Managers, and Analysts.
Working within a fully Microsoft environment, your expertise as a SQL Database specialist in systems development will be crucial in advancing the organisation's technological initiatives. You will engage with senior internal members and external vendors/suppliers and contribute to the migration of SQL Server systems to the cloud, facilitating cloud-based development and technologies.
This contract is Inside IR35 and requires a hybrid working arrangement. Experience within London Market Specialty insurance is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application requirements.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL databases, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Design and implement ETL processes using SSIS to facilitate data integration and migration.
• Create and maintain reports using SSRS, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Azure DevOps teams to automate deployment and continuous integration processes.
