Role & Responsibilities:
As a SQL Database Administrator, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing thedatabase systems. Your responsibilities will include:
Database Management:
Design, develop, and manage SQL databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security.
Performance Tuning:
Continuously monitor and optimize database performance.
Data Integrity:
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
Backup and Recovery:
Implement robust backup and recovery strategies.
Security:
Maintain database security and compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-related needs.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
Proficiency in SQL and database management.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience working in an InsurTech or financial services environment is a plus.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement (2 days in the Essex office) and a competitive salary of up to £70k, which is flexible for the right candidate. The comprehensive package includes a pension plan, health insurance and more.
