Ingenii Search have been retained on a search for a Data Scientist. The firm at the forefront of the EV evolution are looking for their next hire following their continued growth. The mass transition to electric vehicles from combustion engines is facing many challenges. From high energy costs to charging reliability, the $500 billion industry must tackle these mounting problems to ensure that as many consumers as possible are incentivised to make the greener move. The company is dedicated to driving the transition to sustainable transportation by leveraging cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights. As we continue to innovate in the climate-tech space, they are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key data science opportunities in the EV ecosystem.
Analyse large datasets related to EV charging behaviour, vehicle performance, energy consumption, and environmental impact.
Develop predictive models to forecast EV demand, charging station utilisation, and battery performance.
Design and implement machine learning algorithms to optimise EV charging schedules and reduce energy costs.
Utilise data visualisation techniques to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, EV technology, and climate solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience working with geospatial data and GIS tools.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Julia.
Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
Experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Passion for climate-tech, sustainable transportation, and the EV industry.
