Harnham has partnered with a leading data agency on an interim contract position to support an urgent pricing project for a leading retailer.
THE COMPANY & PROJECT This agency has recently won a project with a leading clothing retailer that wants to improve its promotions strategy. As part of this, they require a Data Scientist to run deep dives into their pricing structure and its impact on customer behaviour.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a Data Scientist you will be instrumental in developing a promotional strategy to drive the target customer behaviour, day-to-day that will involve:
Performing Pricing optimisation, forecasting and simulations
Coding in Python and various Python libraries including PyTorch, Flask, Dash, etc
Supporting CRM teams with understanding the various segments of customers.
Working closely with recommendation engines.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Data Scientist will have the following:
Strong Python skills, with experience in PyTorch, Flask & Dash beneficial
A background in Data Science with specific Retail experience
Strong knowledge of pricing analytics, particularly optimisation, forecasting & simulation
Ability to start immediately!

£600-£660 per day
