Job DescriptionIngenii Search are currently partnering with a dynamic and innovative start-up revolutionising their industry. They are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join the team and play a pivotal role in shaping their data strategy. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, build predictive models, and drive innovation through data-driven approaches.Responsibilities:Analyse large, complex datasets to extract valuable insights and identify trends/patterns.Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems and optimise processes.Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance.Work closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to integrate data-driven solutions into our products/services.Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and visualisations.Interpret field and laboratory sensor data for detection and prediction.Create predictive models from scratch to reinforcing the learning.Qualifications:Bsc, Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Scientist or similar role, preferably in a start-up environment.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, neural networks).Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) and proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
