Data Protection Analyst – UK remote - £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits
Locke & McCloud are looking for experienced Data Protection Analysts to join our client as they look to grow their Data Protection team! Our client has recently hired one of the markets very best Data Protection professionals to lead their function and are now looking to widen the team with experienced Data Protection Analysts! We are looking for candidates with expertise in Chapter 3 of the General Data Protection Regulation, and basic professional experience in the Data Protection/Privacy space!
Main responsibilities:
practices comply with GDPR, focusing on Chapter 3, which covers the rights of data subjects.
and implement processes to respond to data subject requests including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objections.
and manage the end-to-end process for handling data subject rights requests.
records of data subject requests and responses, ensuring compliance with GDPR timelines and documentation requirements.
in developing, reviewing, and updating data protection policies and procedures.
regular audits of data processing activities to ensure compliance with Chapter 3 of GDPR.
and report on compliance metrics and trends related to data subject rights.
with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) to report breaches to supervisory authorities and affected data subjects as required.
as a point of contact for data protection queries from employees and customers.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
experience in data protection, privacy compliance, or a related field.
experience working with Chapter 3 of the GDPR, including handling data subject requests and ensuring compliance with data subject rights.
understanding of GDPR, particularly the rights of data subjects.
with data protection impact assessments and data mapping.
