Job requirements Role Summary: The Data Privacy Lead is responsible for ensuring that our work complies with data protection legislation. You will serve as the main point of contact for staff within the Business and support the Group Data Protection Officer with matters relating to the Business. This role is a hybrid position where you will work from any of our Aptia offices, as well as from your home address. Here's what you’ll be doing: Promoting the protection and management of potentially sensitive information. Ensuring that company policies are in compliance with codes of practice such as GDPR. Assisting in devising training plans relevant for the Business in conjunction with the Group Data Protection Officer. Informing and advising data controllers and data processors on all matters related to data protection. Providing expert advice and educate employees on important data compliance requirements. Managing the process of Data Subject Access Requests, ensuring responses meet timelines and include all relevant data, redacted as required. Here’s what we’re looking for: Experience in data protection compliance or related field. Expertise in data protection laws and practice, including a good understanding of GDPR. Experience in a legal, audit or risk management role Strong project management skills; Detailed knowledge of technical administration activities. Pensions Industry experience.
