Fulfilling opportunity for a school Data Officer to work closely with the Senior Leadership team as an impressive Grammar School based in the London Borough of Barnet. The Data Officer will be responsible for providing effective data management and administration support in school data processing.
c.£32K - £36K FTE, Data Officer, Barnet.
The Data Officer will take responsibility for all data activity within the school relating particularly exams and attendance. The Data Officer will also take responsibility for school publications and will contribute to the smooth running of office operations.
Data Officer responsibilities include:
The Data Officer will manage/submit data to the Department for Education
Maintaining the student database, keeping up to date with new admissions and attendance reporting.
Assist the Examinations Officer with examination entries/results data.
Produce data reporting in relation to admissions, attendance, exams etc.
Provide database support to senior and middle level staff.
Support SBM on GDPR, Subject Access Requests and Freedom of Information Requests.
Data Officer requirements:
2:1 degree or above.
Data-driven and analytical mindset.
Well-organised, efficient, and enthusiastic.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Ability to handle data with discretion and diplomacy
High IT proficiency and comfortability navigating spreadsheets, databases, MIS systems, online Survey tools.
Experience with Publisher, InDesign or Canva would be an advantage.
Knowledge of School Systems i.e. SIMS, ISAMS, Arbor etc.
