Data Integration Specialist - Hedge Fund

I am currently working with one of our technology and data driven, global investment management clients who are looking to add a Data Integration Specialist to their London data team who work closely with trading and research functions. This role will allow you to also partner with engineering and execution teams too. This position has high visibility across the business and every project will directly impact trading decisions.
The ideal background would be a talented software/data engineer, with strong data integration and pipeline experience.
Responsibilities:
Write automated tests, maintain, and scale delivery/integration pipelines
Make all the reference data available for different asset types, ensuring good data quality
Automation of all life cycle events for all asset types
Design and develop scalable performant services
Managing Realtime/EOD reports to internal or external parties
Exposure to trades and positions and maintaining proper checks to make it in line with executions
Working hands on with Python
Required Skills:
Proficient in Python programming, design, and architecture, with a robust grasp and hands-on experience
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
Understanding testing within continuous delivery and integration pipelines
Outstanding communication abilities, coupled with the capacity to collaborate effectively within a tight-knit, small team
C# experience would be nice to have
