Data Governance Analyst – Consultancy, Data Governance, Metadata, Data Quality, SQL, Permanent - LondonA fast-growing global Insurance broker situated in the City of London is searching for a Data Governance Analyst to join their newly formed Data & Analytics to play a pivotal role in their data driven transformation. This will be the first ever Data Governance Analyst into the team and you’ll provide support to the Data Governance Manager to help build a strong data governance foundation within the business. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks within data quality, master and reference data and metadata management. To be considered for this job, you must have the following experience:Prior experience of working within a Consultancy, looking at Data Governance (ownership, stewardship, data governance processing, facilitating workshops across data governance structure).Prior experience within metadata management (data lineage, business metadata and technical metadata harvesting.Prior experience fixing data quality (profiling, data analysis, dq control definition, monitoring).Data management tooling experience with a preference towards Purview, although other tooling would work.Experience with SQL for data analysis, for example for writing DQ checks.This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Governance Analyst to join a well-respected Insurance broker in the heaty of the city.Cornwallis Elt is an Employment Agency & Employment Business and has been listed 3 times in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 of the UK`s fastest growing private companies, as well as in the Recruitment International Top 250, Top 50 in IT and the Recruiter Fast 50 & Hot 100 reports.
