Position Title: Data Entry Clerk
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
The Financial Case Analyst is responsible for evaluating and analyzing financial data to determine the financial health of case files. This role involves reviewing and verifying data entries, ensuring accuracy, and following structured decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial ratios and metrics, attention to detail, and the ability to follow guidelines and procedures effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial ratios and metrics to assess the financial health of various case files.
Review data entry to ensure accuracy by comparing figures against supporting documentation.
Verify financial figures against documentation to prevent and identify data entry errors.
Follow a playbook and decision tree, with training, to determine the applicability of criteria to each case file.
Maintain accurate and organized records of analyses and decisions.
Communicate findings and discrepancies to relevant team members and supervisors.
Assist in the development and refinement of data entry and analysis procedures.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of financial metrics and ratios.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow structured decision-making processes and guidelines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in a financial analysis, data entry, or related role.
Familiarity with financial software and databases.
