There could be a bright future for you if you're interested in software, networking, analytics, or cyber security.Have you collaborated cross-functionally on complex IT business systems' related projects involving data, working with diverse sets of stakeholders?We are looking for a Data Engineering Team Leader to oversee a team of Data Engineers and Data Analysts who are responsible for supporting the day-to-day data operations. As Data Engineering Team Lead, you'll be responsible for: Contributing to the personal and professional development of your team membersAttending and contributing with other management teams to the quarterly IT development plan to prioritise and align workload and resources against the Softcat business strategy / roadmapBuilding and maintaining data pipelines from a design specification into the enterprise data warehouse and other data platformsPromoting, governing, and assessing the use of agreed standards and tools and are utilised to achieve well-engineered outcomesParticipatingin reviews of work to ensure developments are standardised, reliable, and maintainableWe'd love you to haveExperience managing a team of technical resourcesProven track record of delivering results in a management roleProven experience in SQL Server database development and data warehouse architectureProven experience in designing, coding, testing, and correcting complex SQL models and scriptsExcellent knowledge of data analysis, data modelling and quality assurance techniques Work in a way that works for you
