Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Engineer with 6-7 years of experience, particularly in roles such as Technical Program Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Scrum Master, managing cross-functional projects in a data-centric environment. This position is ideal for candidates who have a blend of strong technical skills, project leadership abilities, and expertise in various project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and enhance data platforms, ensuring robustness and scalability.
Develop sophisticated data models to support varied business needs.
Lead projects effectively, demonstrating capable project leadership skills.
Utilize various project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and their combinations.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, creating integrated program roadmaps.
Demonstrate strong technical proficiency, such as coding skills or data engineering expertise.
Facilitate collaboration and efficient work processes among different parties.
Navigate and manage progress in ambiguous environments.
Develop and implement KPIs, dashboards, and metrics for project tracking.
Plan and manage releases effectively.
Conduct risk reporting and implement risk management and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
3-7 years of experience in data-related fields (Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Quality, Data Profiling, Data Modeling, etc.).
Extensive project management experience with various SDLC methodologies.
Proficient in the toolsets for the above methodologies.
Excellent communication skills.
Comfortable working in uncertain environments and adept at driving progress.
Preferably holds Scrum Master Certification (such as CSM or PSM) or PMP, along with other relevant certifications.
Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.
