This role is ideal for someone with a passion
for data analysis, manipulation, and processing using ETL/ELT techniques. You will also be involved in 3rd line support for internal and third-party systems, DBA tasks, and database deployments. Day to Day of the role:
Implement solutions and deployments in collaboration with the Data and Systems team.Instil a culture of continuous improvement within the team and in data-related system design and development.Maintain industry-standard technical knowledge and stay up to date with current trends.Provide 3rd line support for internal and third-party systems.Perform DBA tasks and manage database deployments effectively. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Data-related qualifications or relevant field experience.Proven track record of implementing successful ETL/ELT processes.Strong understanding of data and analytical processing technologies, including transactional databases, SQL Server, various cloud platforms, and services.Proficiency in RDMS, particularly SQL Server 2016 and above.Experience with APIs and integrating systems using 3rd party APIs.Familiarity with Azure data factory, event hubs, and data bricks.Good understanding of Agile methodologies.Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Willingness to travel as necessary and perform additional job-related duties.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Positive and enthusiastic team player.Highly analytical and self-motivated with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
