Following company training the successful applicant will be accountable for a smooth and seamless provision of Data Cabling Engineer for both internal and external clients. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a structured Cabling Engineer to join our growing team based in Gosport/Portsmouth. As a business they've been around since 1998.

The Role:

The Data Cabling Engineer role is field-based. Covering the High Wycombe region, you will be accountable for the installation of 5e/6/6a cabling infrastructure in commercial/construction environments, a background in fibre optic infrastructure would be an advantage, and the ability to follow project specification documents and drawings. The successful structured Cabling Engineer will need comprehensive experience of structured cabling infrastructure projects of all sizes and the role will require travel throughout the UK. Pay high attention to detail, and have excellent organisational skills. Also need to understand health and safety policies, scheduling of material procurement, and ensuring project milestones are met.

The Candidate:

The ideal person for this Data Cabling Engineer role will have a relevant background in the installation of 5e/6/6a cabling infrastructure in commercial/construction environments.

You'll also need experience of:

- Fibre optic infrastructure would be an advantage

- The installation of containment systems

- The installation, termination and testing of MM and sm fibre optic cabling systems

- Av systems

- Structured cabling infrastructure projects of all sizes

In addition, you'll need a high attention to detail, and have excellent organisational skills and CSCS or ECS card.

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- Experienced in the installation of 5e/6/6a cabling infrastructure in commercial/construction environments

- Experienced in fibre optic infrastructure would be an advantage

- Experienced in AV systems

The Package:

Basic salary:���30,000 - �35,000 per annum
