Data Business Analyst

Job Description
Eames is currently partnered with a specialty insurer that is looking for a Data Business Analyst to join its central data team and contribute to its data modernisation programme.
This is a hybrid role, paying circa £65,000 plus benefits and bonuses. You will be working from home 2 – 3 days per week.
The role:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements for specialty insurance projects.
Analyze data from various source systems and perform data flow mapping.
Translate business needs into technical data solutions and align with industry standards.
Support data governance, develop technical documentation, and guide throughout the data lifecycle.
The candidate:
Hands-on data business analysis experience in insurance, preferably London Market.
Support projects from a data perspective and assist with Analytics & Insights initiatives.
Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality improvement.
Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, tools like SQL, Power BI, and Informatica, and understanding of SDLC methodologies.
