COR5695 Data Architect, Medical Data, Kubernetes, Python, (£95,000)
The Role
This is an excellent Data Architect position, working for a MedTech company with a growing reputation in their field. The Data Architect will use their skills and experience of technologies including Kubernetes, Kafka, Airflow, Linux, AWS and Python to spearhead the evolution and enhancement of their existing data infrastructure, as they scale up the adoption of their software as a medical device product. This will involve data infrastructure design while adhering to regulatory standards, cloud architecture, tech stack management and data governance compliance.

What’s Required?
The Ideal candidate for the Data Architect will have as much from the following as possible:
Significant experience in the medical data domain, delivering software/data infrastructure projects in the Software as a Medical Device industry
Experience of designing and implementing scalable and secure data infrastructure
Hands-on experience with the Kubernetes, Kafka, Airflow, Python, Ubuntu Linux, AWS (or similar cloud platforms)
Strong database skills using SQL - Any experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB would be advantageous
An understanding or experience within Microservice Architecture or within a microservices environment
Strong background in cybersecurity
Experience of working with healthcare data standards like DICOM and HL7, together with a familiarity with data governance principles and regulations in the medical domain.
