week commencing 1 July 2024 About the roleThe Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is the organisation through which the Mayor of London exercises his role as the Police and Crime Commissioner for London and is led by the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime. MOPAC undertakes a broad range of statutory duties and works closely with the Mayor of London, Deputy Mayor and Metropolitan Police Service to deliver the priorities that will create safer London communities.Do you have a passion for data and ensuring it's used effectively?The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is seeking a Data and Information Governance Officer to join our team! You'll play a vital role in helping us make the most of our data, while keeping it safe and secure.The Data and Information Governance Officer role at MOPAC is responsible for ensuring the organisation adheres to data protection regulations and best practices. This involves providing expert advice and training to staff across all levels, working with Data Champions to promote good data practices, and developing a robust Data Governance Framework.
