Version 1 is more than just another IT services company - we are leaders in implementing, supporting technologies such as Oracle, Microsoft and AWS.Invest in us and we’ll invest in you; if you are driven, committed and up for a challenge, we want to meet you.Job DescriptionWorking within DevOps team as a Data Analytics Solution Architect will be utilising your expertise within Microsoft's SQL Azure / Data Factory / PowerBi / PowerApps platforms to play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, managing and supporting the digital practice.ROLE PROFILE AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESWork alongside other teams internally to help shape the initiatives required to support the Leading-Edge StrategyWorking alongside other teams to keep Architecture Models up to date for both customer projects and for Version 1Work alongside other teams internally to document digital productsCreate apps and implement dashboards within the PowerApps and Power BI space within the company’s governance frameworkMaintain and optimize the Data Warehouse and Data Lake / Data Brick solutions to maximize performanceWorking alongside other teams internally and suppliers to support the client's digital solutionsQualificationsStrong background in Data Engineering, Architecture and documentationStrong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, PowerApps and Power BIStrong familiarity of the Azure DevOps toolset & Microsoft Azure related CertificationsProven track record of implementing end-to-end data solutions and ELT/ETL pipeline development skillsExperience working with solutions in the Cloud specifically Microsoft's Azure platformStrong SQL experience both within the SQL Azure space and on-premAbility to communicate well with key stakeholders and non-technical audiencesA strong level of TSQL language skillsExperience in leading data engineering projectsExperience working with large-scale data environments in a data engineering roleExperience working in the Construction/Infrastructure spaceExperience with AWSA demonstrable track record in a similar role is a necessity for this role.Applications processed via employer's online application form
