The Opportunity:
For the Ministry of Defence (MOD), maintaining National Security is a 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year mission. For this reason, it partners with this Big 4 Firm to support its multidisciplinary AI & Cloud Data Analytics Capabilities.
The Data & Analytics team sits within the AI & Data consulting group, focusing on delivering complex initiatives across the Defence & Security sector.
The Role:
As a Data Analytics Consultant, you’ll design and build data solutions such as ETL components, data warehouses or data virtualisation implementation.
Working closely with client stakeholders to design the source-to-target mappings for large-scale data migrations whilst conducting interviews and support workshops to capture business or technical requirements for a data solution.
Required Skills/Experience:
British Passport Holder with active DV (Developed Vetting Clearance)
Skilled Data Analyst with the ability to translate business requirements into functional/technical data designs/solutions
Agile and/or DevOps for software development & IT operations
ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend or Pentaho
Data governance and data management tools such as Informatica MDM, Informatica AXON, Informatica EDC, and Collibra
MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases
Programming languages such as Spark or Python
Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud and distributed processing technologies such as Hadoop

Base Salary:
£45,000 - £75,000 (DoE)
