Your roleWe are seeking a Data Analyst to join a brand-new branch of the Data team at Ohme, who is passionate about leveraging and combining creative data and new technologies to drive business efficiency through innovation.This role combines deep analytical skills with a strong understanding of business processes and potential AI applications, aiming to optimize our customer-centric business. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver, a data enthusiast, and a technology pioneer and advocate, ready to contribute to our mission. You may well be a recent graduate looking for a step into a commercial environment or already have worked in data and/or business analytics!• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, identifying areas for improvement through process, data analytics, and disruptive technologies.• Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets using statistical techniques, SQL, and potentially Python, to develop data-driven solutions that enhance business decision-making and operational efficiency.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for data-driven solutions.• Lead the design and implementation of projects focusing on abstracting complexity into simple and optimised processes via disruptive technology and data driven approaches to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and decision-making in the realm of sustainable energy and transport.• Stay updated on the latest in AI systems, data analytics, and sustainable technologies, assessing their potential to drive business growth and efficiency.• Facilitate the integration of our technology platform with cars, chargers, energy providers, and more, enhancing the consumer experience and contributing to the global transition to clean energy.• Prepare and present detailed reports on data insights, project progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, driving data literacy and informed decision-making across the organization.Who you are:• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, Business Administration or a related field.• Experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst in technology, energy, transport or customer service sectors is a plus.• Proficiency in SQL and experience with statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.). Knowledge of Python is a plus.• Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, and data analysis techniques, with a focus on their application in business contexts.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.• Passion for sustainability, technology, and innovation, with a drive to learn and adapt to new challenges.• Live our values: Move fast, be brave, push the bar, take ownership and be transparent.
