PATH Recruitment is proud to partner with a specialist software company that provide software systems to the construction hire industry. They are seeking a Data Analyst to join their team and play a crucial role in establishing a new data framework across the organisation. As a subject matter expert within a centralised data team, you will facilitate communication and support the development of new reporting capabilities, ensuring the utilisation of the best processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities as the Data Analyst:

Collaborate with the BI team to develop new reporting capabilities.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues.
Leverage cutting-edge technologies for data analysis and automation processes.
Process data and generate reports.
Install systems, input configurations, and perform upgrades.
Identify gaps and opportunities in reporting processes across various business divisions.
Respond to ad-hoc data queries and extracts.
Support the development, testing, and maintenance of code.
Requirements of the Data Analyst:

Experience in the construction hire industry such as plant hire and powered access hire.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
Ability to engage with all levels of the business.
Familiarity with accounting systems is a plus. such as Sage and Quickbooks.
To be successful as the Data Analyst you may have worked in one of the following industries plant hire, tool hire, powered access hire, accommodation hire, builders' merchants, or specialist equipment hire industries is advantageous, it is not essential. Previous roles such as data specialist, data analyst, data consultant, data technician, or data engineer are highly relevant.
