We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Insights team within our Performance Marketing department based in Norwich.
As part of our Insights team, you will utilise your analytical skills and deep understanding of data analysis and insight to provide clear, effective recommendations for campaign strategies to help achieve client objectives.
You will be able to provide insight to client campaigns by studying data across multiple platforms such as GA4, BigQuery, Adverity and Google marketing platforms.
This role is a mix of accruing data alongside gathering insight, so it's essential that you are familiar with data visualisation platforms as you will be required to build out data to be used for reporting on multi-channel campaign activity. You will be working across global delivery teams within Gravity to ensure client KPIs and metrics are being captured effectively and presented back to clients in a cohesive and visually appealing manner.
You will be passionate about providing the best service possible to clients and ensure that the agency remains at the cutting edge of digital marketing by researching and implementing new techniques, providing insight into new areas of opportunity for campaign analysis and keeping abreast of the latest news and concepts within the digital marketing community.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide data, analysis and research skills across the business wherever required.
To guarantee effective client reporting by recommending and monitoring appropriate campaign metrics and KPIs, as well as having a practical involvement in ensuring the relevance and quality of the agencies in-house reporting platform.
To provide expert insight into website usage statistics, typically via an in-depth understanding of GA4 and BigQuery, and the ability to produce meaningful report summaries.
To integrate client data with campaign data where necessary, working with clients to build a data integration strategy based on their tech stack and security requirements.
To devise and implement internal research and development projects to quantify and evaluate different search marketing techniques.
To provide data and research consultancy to internal staff and clients as required.
To provide information for monthly reports and quarterly review documentation for retained digital marketing clients.
Skill Requirements:
Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to interrogate data sets to pull out key insights.
A creative and inquisitive mindset with the ability to offer practical solutions to work situations, always questioning and considering more efficient/effective alternatives.
Experience in manipulating data in Excel.
Experience with Word and PowerPoint.
Have an investigative nature and high attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills - will be required to identify, visualise and explain key insights to internal teams and clients.
Proficiency with appropriate tools, including GA4, BigQuery, Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and standard deviation), and know key functions such as vlookup, sumifs, countifs.
Experience with data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio, PowerBI and Tableau.
Nice to haves:
Experience with Google Analyticsand Google Marketing Platform
