The Role:
The purpose of the IT Data Analyst is to use industry standard as well as Group principles to support the growth and maintenance of the UK Data Hub by interpreting and analysing data, investigating data related issues, identifying data paths, ETL, quality and lineage and identifying optimisation of capture and usage.
The Data Analyst will work with local IT and Data teams, as well as the Central Data Hub team to ensure compliance with Data Hub principles, identify and develop tools for data management and visualisation, and support the maintenance of the IT Data Dictionary ensuring it is compliant with the Group Master Data List principles.
The IT Data Analyst should also support problems by using statistical techniques, data visualization and manipulation tools and programming skills to extract valuable insights, contributing to data-driven decision-making

Skills& Attributes:
• Background in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
• Proven experience as an IT Data Analyst or a similar role
• Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
• Effective communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
