Data Analyst

Job Overview:
Select Car Leasing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into valuable insights, supporting decision-making processes and contributing to the overall success of the business. Reporting to the Data Analyst Manager, the ideal candidate will have expertise in using BI platforms such as QLIK, Tableau, or Power BI, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its associated functions.
Responsibilities:
Data Integration and Analysis:
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into QLIK.
Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Join tables and datasets to create comprehensive and meaningful reports.
QLIK Utilisation:
Expertise in using QLIK for data visualisation and reporting.
Develop and maintain interactive and user-friendly apps within QLIK.
Utilise QLIK to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Microsoft Excel Proficiency:
Demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formula creation and data manipulation.
Comfortable using functions such as SUM, MAX, MIN, AVERAGE, INDEX & MATCH, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, SUMIFS, MAXIFS, MINIFS, AVERAGEIFS, and IF statements with AND, OR, and NOT conditions.
Data Reporting:
Create and automate reports that provide valuable insights for stakeholders.
Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring of key performance indicators.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the Data Analyst Manager to understand reporting requirements.
Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and reporting.
Propose and implement enhancements to existing reporting processes.
Desired Skill Set:
Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation.
Strong proficiency in QLIK or similar BI platforms.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and its functions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
