Location: SouthamptonReports to Senior Project Manager - Client OnboardingWith a focus on driving excellent client service and understanding the needs of our clients, we are continually enhancing the onboarding approach. As a result, we are looking for an experienced Onboarding Data & Reporting Manager to join the newly established Clinet Onboarding Team.The individual will be responsible for elements of the client onboarding journey that touch-upon data migration, financial reporting, report scoping, build and testing and applications set-up. This will encompass the onboarding journey for migrations and new structure set-ups across our jurisdictions, markets and services.In addition, the role holder will be expected to actively seek and implement best practice into onboarding processes to ensure the Client Onboarding team adopts a continuous improvement mindset. This will be supported by the opportunity to complete additional qualifications / training where required.Key responsibilities:The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited, to:ScopingAttend client workshops to scope out data migration (where applicable), system and reporting requirements. Advise clients on the most appropriate course of action.Work with the Project Managers to plan timelines and resourcing based on scope.Be able to discuss the functionality of Aztec’s application stack and how these can address the client’s needs for financial, performance and management information purposes.Be transparent in what Aztec systems can and can not accommodate and the implications of bespoke reporting.Liaise with the IT applications team to build and test any bespoke reporting required as identified from scoping conversations.Agree client involvement in the review and sign-off of bespoke reports to be built.Data Quality Assessment & MigrationLead data quality assessments to ascertain quality of data for migrations.Consider alternative approaches for data migrations, including opportunities for automation and secondments into the client’s own data teams to understand their existing processes and uses of the data and reports that Aztec will provide going forward.Oversee the extraction, reconciliation, mapping and migration of client data to Aztec’s systems.Escalate data quality issues to Senior leadership where it may result in delays to achieving pre-set timelines and / or pricing implications.Work closely with the Applications team and wider IT team to identify efficiencies and enhancements in Aztec’s current system functionality based on knowledge gained during the migration process.Work with Management Team to create migration plans, as well as KPIs an SLAs that will measure the success of the migration.Identifying risks or issues that may impact the delivery of the migration process, whilst providing and facilitating the creation of options and recommendations to mitigate and drive solutions in a positive and constructive manner.System Set-up and Process OptimisationWork with the Onboarding Operations Manager to ensure the optimal system set-up of all new clients / entities / structures across FIA, Yardi and Viewpoint so that Clients can benefit from full system functionality.Contribute to the improvement in client recovery in the BAU phase as a result of appropriate system set-up and less reliance on manual workarounds.Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Work with other areas of Client Services to ensure adoption of best practice processes and identification of automation opportunities.Manage multiple onboarding projects of differing complexity and size simultaneously (may also be across different jurisdictions and asset classes)Be responsible for adhering to specific SLAs / KPIs for each onboarding and managing the team against these and appropriate escalation to senior leadership as required.Identify and capture lessons learnt and act on, to enable continuous improvement of the onboarding journey.Effectively manage the handover process to the CFT to ensure the Client has a superior onboarding experience and seamlessly transitions to BAU.People ManagementManaging a team within set SLAs and KPIsStrong people management experience, including objective setting and sucession planningResponsible for managing workloads and delegating tasks, as appropriate, to the Senior Data & Accounting Analyst(s).Skills, knowledge, expertise:5+ years experience in data migrations, using a range of related platforms, including financial reporting software.Familiar with the tech stack deployed by Aztec and its functionality (e.g. FIA, Yardi, ViewPoint).Strong knowledge of data software and tools, including systems such as alteryx.Ability to manage client expectations and plan extensive data migration projects.Industry experience across the markets we service, translating into knowledge of fund structures and set-up processes.An interest in technology, especially data management technology.Detailed orientated and strong problem solving skills, whilst providing the creation of options and recommendations, and using initiative to drive solutions in a positive and constructive manner.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of seniority.Working in cross-functional and cross jurisdictional teams to ensure positive outcomes for clients.Travel may be required on a periodic basis to Aztec’s locations to build relationships with Clients / the team.We will provide the training, both in house for relevant technical knowledge and also professional qualifications to enhance your professional development. You will need to be quick to learn new systems and great with people, as close working relationships between our colleagues and clients is at the heart of what we do.
