The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers. Your responsibilities may include:

• Supervising and managing classrooms in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring that students remain focused and engaged in their learning.
• Managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
• Providing support to students as needed and responding to any queries or concerns.
• Liaising with teaching staff and senior leadership to ensure smooth running of the school day.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively and maintain discipline.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subject areas and year groups.
• A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young people's lives.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
