Role Overview: As a Secondary School Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of secondary schools within Thanet, covering short-term absences, long-term assignments, and providing general support to the teaching staff. You will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in students' education and ensuring a high standard of learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year groups in accordance with school curriculum and policies.
• Manage classroom behavior and promote a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs of students.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support the overall development and success of students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience working as a Secondary School Teacher, preferably with experience across different year groups and subjects.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and handle varying teaching assignments.
