Tasked with ensuring the seamless functioning of security infrastructure, the Cybersecurity Strategy and Automation Lead will drive innovation and excellence within the team. With a comprehensive understanding of SIEM Administration, SOAR, DDoS prevention, IPS, email security, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence, the ideal candidate will excel in utilizing a broad spectrum of technologies. This position requires not only a proficiency in responding to security events but also a commitment to the continuous maintenance and improvement of security tools, ensuring the organization's defenses remain robust and effective.Your Role:As the Cybersecurity Strategy Lead responsible for an automation strategy, you'll be instrumental in enhancing our cybersecurity posture. Your mission will be to lead a team dedicated to developing and refining automated detection and response systems. This pivotal role involves streamlining cybersecurity processes, ensuring the effectiveness of security tools, and driving innovation within our operations.Responsibilities:Lead the development and optimization of automated security solutions to improve efficiency and response times.Manage and enhance security tools and technologies, ensuring they are leveraged to their full potential.Spearhead the creation of new security detection use-cases and automation workflows to address emerging threats.Conduct comprehensive security analyses, presenting key findings and strategies to stakeholders.Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and collaboration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security initiatives with broader organizational goals.We're Looking for Someone With:Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, preferably with a focus on automation and engineering within a global setting.Strong technical background, including experience with programming (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, JavaScript) and API integration.Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions, cloud environments, and developing detection use-cases.Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving excellence.Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
