Cyber Security Engineer

Job DescriptionCyber Security Engineer/ Cardiff/ £40,000- £50,000 Cps are supporting a Cardiff based client in helping them find a Cyber Security Engineer. This is a remote position and initially a 6 month FTCThe role is predominantly to support the strengthening of the business’s core infrastructure and applications. You will be working closely with a 3rd party security consultancy to respond to security incidents and help implement security remediations. There will also be some longer term project based work too. Ideally you will have come from support or infrastructure engineering background, with a solid understanding of Cyber security methods and standards such as ISO27001.
