💲 Salary/Rate: £80- £ 87.53 per hr (inside IR35)
📍 Location: Aldermaston
⏱️ Contract Duration: 18 months

We are currently looking for a Cyber Security Architect for our government client. This Cyber Security Architect role is based full time on site in Aldermaston.

The contract for the Cyber Security Architect position is initially for 18 months, offering an hourly rate within the range of £ 80 to £ 87.53, operating inside IR35.

Security Clearance: Developed Vetting (DV Clearance)

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

• Security Architect skills and experience
• Hands on experience in security applications and/or appliances
• Worked in a defence industry previously, eg MOD, AWE (highly classified environments)
• Good working knowledge of:
• Firewalls
• DevOps
• Cloud
• Intrusion detection systems (IDS)
• Intrusion prevention systems (IPS)
• Endpoint Detection

• Experience more important than qualifications
• Technical background
• Stakeholder Management
• Hands on with security tooling
• Can work autonomously and as part of a team
• Use initiative, ask right questions, flag issues, fit into project
• Able to talk through/help thought processes
