Cyber Security Analyst

Rate - £450 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration - 6 months
We are currently partnering with a global leader in the telecommunications sector, who are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join them on 6 month contract, with possible potential for extension.
Reporting to a Senior Manager of Cyber Incident Response, you will be acting as Security Analyst/Incident Handler and be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments, monitoring systems and networks for potential system breaches, and responding to alerts from information security tools.
Essential Experience:
Minimum 4 years' experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or Incident Responder
An understanding of performing technical level analysis and interpretation of information from SOC systems
Solid understanding of computing protocols, authentication mechanisms and attacker TTPs
GIAC, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA or equivalent certification
Understanding or proven experience in securing Windows, Linux, Oracle and VM platforms
Please note this role is on a 5 weekly shift pattern/rota with an expectation onsite in a London office twice a month.
