Cyber Security Analyst

Our client is looking for an Information Security Analyst to work as a contractor for 12 months on a remote based assignment.The candidate will be required to travel to Paris once per quarter for meetings.#CyberSecurity #InformationSecurity ResponsibilitiesContinuously monitor security alerts and events, investigate potential security incidents, and identify abnormal activities in client environmentsCoordinate and execute incident response procedures, including containment, eradication, and recovery - document all incident-related activities and findingsConduct threat intelligence research to stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilitiesAnalyze data to identify potential security risks and recommend countermeasuresPerform vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in client systemsCollaborate with clients to address and remediate vulnerabilitiesAssist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies and best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsMaintain detailed records of security incidents, investigations, and remediation effortsWork closely with clients and cross-functional teams to address security concerns and integrate security into the development and operation of IT systemsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proven 5+ experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar cybersecurity roleRelevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), are a plusStrong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practicesProficiency in security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutionsProficiency on at least 2 of the following technology : Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, CortexProficiency on at least 2 of the following technology : SentinelOne, TrendMicro, Trellix, Microsoft Defender, CrowdstrikeExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsOrganized with a proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively in a challenging environment to drumbeat the activitySend me alerts about jobs like this.Please enter your email address to continue setting up an email alert for similar jobs to this one.
