Cutting Operative

Cutting operative required to work on the night shift with one of the UK's most recognisable fashion brands based in Castleford.

The main purpose is to work as part of a team to prepare cut work and fabric at the beginning of the production process for a luxury fashion manufacturing site. As a Production Operative in the Cutting Room, you should ensure the highest quality standards are achieved and production efficiency is maintained.

The role will involve laying interlining fabric on a manual spreader according to the layplan and ensure the fabric is cut as per the plan using the automatic Lectra Cutter. You will also be required to label the cutwork panels ready for the production teams to sew.

Previous auto cutting experience would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given. The role involves lifting and carrying large rolls of fabric and standing / being on your feet for the duration of the shift.

Night shift working pattern: Mon-Thurs from 19:30-06:00

�14.04phr and �21.06phr after 40hrs.
