Customs Coordinator

We are working with a Freight Forwarder looking for a Customs Clerk to join their team in Dover.

This role is working 4 on 4 off night shift.

Responsibilities

• Creating customs documentation for Air Freight


• Oversee all customs clearance of traffic moving by road


• Complete customs entries from start to finish for Imports and Exports


• Customs import/export entry checking


• Collaborate with clients, importers, exporters, and relevant parties to gather essential information required for import and export declarations.


• Address and resolve queries from Customs related to active declarations.


• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across all operational systems.


• Upload job information into in-house Transport Monitoring System


• Swiftly and effectively manage all inquiries and questions concerning customs processes, tariff classifications, duty rates, and additional documentation needs while maintaining direct communication with clients.

Skills Required;

• Experience working within a similar role is required


• Customs software experience


• Experience working with freight forwarding and logistics


• Good communication skills


• Proficient in MS Office
