Customs Agent

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Customs Agent to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all shipments comply with international customs laws and regulations. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of customs procedures and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify import/export documents for accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.


• Prepare and submit necessary customs documentation and ensure timely clearance of shipments.


• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and inform relevant stakeholders.


• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth shipment processes.


• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any customs-related issues.


• Maintain accurate records of all customs documentation and correspondence.


• Ensure proper filing and storage of customs entries, invoices, and other related documents.

Experience:

Minimum of 5�years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or a related role
