Polytec are looking for an experienced Customer Support / Service Engineer for our Cambridge based client. This role will involve extensive travel, potentially at short notice, typically of 1-2 weeks' duration.
Responsibilities:
* Field based commissioning and service activities (approximately 25% of the role)
* Site visits to new and existing customers to commission new systems, service activities and delivering system training
* Provide support to customers and update technical and procedural documentation
Requirements:
* HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical engineering
* Previous experience in international servicing and commissioning activities
* Broad technical knowledge and experience
* Ability to carry out logical fault diagnosis of electro-mechanical systems
* Able and willing to travel worldwide is essential
* Good IT skills with an understanding of software applications
* You will need to be comfortable working at height
