Customer Service and Sales Administrator
Annual Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 plus potential quarterly bonusLocation: York Ring Road with Hybrid after trainingJob Type: Full-time We are seeking a Customer Support Administrator to join a vibrant and growing business that offers personal and professional growth opportunities. As part of our client’s expanding team, you will experience a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Day-to-day of the role:
Input all orders daily, ensuring they are on the system ready for dispatch in a timely manner and provide order confirmation to the customer.Monitor online orders throughout the day, process and action accordingly.Liaise with the Sales teams to validate order information when required.Assist with the resolution of customer issues, investigate the root cause, apply corrective actions and suggest preventative actions moving forward.Respond to pricing requests using information from the Sales team.Respond to sales enquiries and forward qualified sales opportunities to the appropriate Sales team.Promote the full range of products and services to customers when appropriate.Liaise with the Operations department regarding costs and timescales for dispatching large or multiple orders to ensure customer requirements are met.Make courtesy calls to follow up on activities, ensure customer retention, and identify future sales opportunities. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), with a strong emphasis on professional email communication.Professional telephone manner, able to communicate clearly and concisely to business customers.Excellent customer service skills.Accurate and efficient administration, including the use of company systems and software.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook (email & calendar), Word, and Excel.Problem-solving skills, including identification of root cause and improvements.Ability to recognise a sales opportunity.
