A Service Engineer with a technical background encompassing fault finding and commissioning of Electronic and Mechanical systems and who is happy to travel Worldwide (25% of time), will join an award-winning technology company, market leaders in the design and manufacture of thermal imaging equipment.
The Service Engineer will ideally hold a formal Electronic or Mechanical Engineering qualification, must have some previous experience working in a customer service and/or commissioning role and be confident in their problem solving skills. General IT skills are as required.
Field based commissioning and service will be approximately 25% of the role, with the remaining time spent in the Cambridge offices. Whilst in the office, the role will involve providing technical support to customers; therefore excellent communication skills and good decision making skills are essential.
This Customer Service and Support Engineer role is ideal for someone with an Electro-mechanical background and who enjoys problem solving and customer interactions and is also willing to travel Worldwide. Full product training will be given.
Applicants must possess a full UK driving License, a Passport which enables them to travel Worldwide without restrictions and who is eligible to work in the UK without Sponsorship.
