Customer Service Representative (German Speaking) Science & Technology · Watford

Cranleigh STEM is working with an established laboratory instrument manufacturer that operates in the food and beverage sector, we are looking for a German speaking Customer Service Representative to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.This individual will bridge the gap between the UK and German customer service departments and take full ownership of the German side of the instrument movements and repairs.To be successful you will be fluent in both English and German, oral and written. Possess previous experience in a customer service role, ideally using Microsoft Dynamics NAV systems and first-class communication and interpersonal skills.Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 + BenefitsLocation: WatfordResponsibilities: Communicate with the team in Germany on a day-to-day basis. Maintain a record of customer communication. Completing transactions between the UK and Germany on the ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics) Use CRM database for acquiring relevant information, customer contracts, and instrument repair cases. Liaise with the engineering team in Germany for up-to-date information on instrument movements and repairs. Process orders from Germany, providing colleagues and customers with updates as required. Resolve customer queries and complaints by directing urgent issues to site management. Track instrument repairs. Liaise with freight forwarders to arrange shipments. Requirements: Fluent in both English and German, oral and written. Possess previous experience in a customer service role, ideally using Microsoft Dynamics NAV systems. Strong time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team as well as independently. Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external clients.
