We are proud to be working with Ashford Borough Council in connection with their temporary vacancy for a Customer Service Operative to support in their Housing Repairs division.
The role:
* Provide telephone support to customers and repairs teams.
* Offer advice and arrange property repairs in accordance with agreed approach.
* Update computer system by logging calls, outcomes and raising repairs jobs.
* Admin support to repairs team and contractors.
Skills required:
* Minimum of 1-years previous experience dealing directly with the general public or customers in a work capacity.
* Previous experience in a building maintenance or construction related environment would be beneficial.
* Methodical in your approach and able to follow a variety of complex tasks.
* Flexible in attitude and manner in order to deal with a wide variety of people and service situations.
This is a temporary role for 1-3 months requiring an immediate start and offers 37-hours per week Monday to Friday based in their Ashford office.
