Julie Rose Recruitment are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join their client in Bromley within the Household department. This role is an entry level opportunity for an ambitious college or university leaver with a keen interest in insurance. Full training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for taking calls from new and existing clients in the Household department, assessing their needs and dealing accordingly.

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor:

Assisting with new business quotations for all classes of Household related insurance.
Ensuring customer cover commences at the correct time, premiums are collected, and all paperwork is completed accordingly.
Dealing with alterations to existing policies, ensuring insurers are notified.
Offering and processing policy renewals.
Thoroughly checking all client documentation before despatch, ensuring queries are raised and amendments completed.
Managing own diary, ensuring all items are followed up within deadlines.
Assist customers with enquiries relating to claims.
Any ad hoc duties as required.
Person Specification for the Customer Service Advisor:

Excellent telephone manner and previous customer service experience.
Responsible attitude to handling sensitive information.
Minimum A Level education (or equivalent).
Proficient in MS Office.
