decco are looking for a customer service advisor to join a fast-growing utilities company in Peterborough City Centre. This role is suitable for someone with excellent customer service skills who has experience working in a call centre. You must be comfortable speaking to customers over the phone and responding to enquiries via email and webchat.

Please note: This job role includes shift work, including early morning, evenings, and weekends. The earliest shift starts at 6am- 6pm and the latest shift is 11am to 11pm. This will be on a 4 on 4 off rota.You will be required to work all shift patterns and this is not working from home, it is all office based.

You will be responsible for answering and resolving customer queries and some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide excellent customer service to customers in answering and resolving their enquiries in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner to ensure first contact resolution.
  • Proactively review customer accounts when they call to identify and resolve and future problems before they arise.
  • Ensure complaints are treated seriously and ensure complaints procedures are followed.
  • Empathise with the customer where appropriate and ensure the customer always feels valued, treated fairly and properly informed.

This role is suitable for an individual with empathy, patience, and resilience as you will be dealing with a high volume of calls from customers. The ideal candidate will be able to provide evidence of high levels of customer service and a good work ethic.
