Customer Due Diligence Analyst

As a Customer Due Diligence Analyst, you will
use your analytic skills
to detect money laundering risks and potential vulnerable gamblers. These investigations are conducted to ensure that the customer can legitimately support their levels of play and are protected from gambling harm.
Reporting to the CustomerDue Diligence Team Manager, you will be part of
TheCustomer Due Diligence (CDD) Operations Department within Customer Services. Itis responsible for conducting detailed investigations of our Digital customers.

What you willdo
Collect documentary proof to build and maintain case files/profiles for transactions deemed suspicious and source of funds/wealth.
Review alerts as part of the company’s PEPs, Sanctions and Watch Lists screening process.
Daily assessment of AML reports relating to potential suspicious activity.
Stay current with money laundering and terrorist financing behaviours, issues, policies, regulations, criminal typologies, industry best practices, and developing trends.
Conduct investigations of money laundering alerts or transactions considered suspicious.
Ensure timely and efficient reporting of transactions considered suspicious.
Who youare
Previous experience of working within CDD environment or in the gambling industry.
Proven experience of detailed, investigative and analytical working practices.
Must be detail-oriented and analytical.
Strong knowledge and experience Anti Money Laundering and Responsible Gambling requirements.
Motivated, well organised, and accurate with a high attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work on own initiative and to challenge processes where improvements could be made.
Effective teamwork skills
Must be able to work to strict deadlines and prioritise issues.
