Here at Hays, I am recruiting for a Customer Demand Executive/Planner for a leading Retail client based in Leeds. This is a fast-paced customer-facing role that is paying up to £32,000 per annum depending on experience. This is a hybrid role with 2–3 days on site in Leeds. You will be reporting to the Demand Manager, and you will developing a collaborative relationship with customers to have a clear understanding of their KPI’s and requirements, working towards excellent service, volume management and forecast accuracy. You will be a key part of the forecast and demand review process, by providing customer demand information and analysis to help improve the forecast. Part of your role will be providing customer insight, understanding and analysis to be discussed with the account manager and be the chair for monthly forecast review meetings. Your key responsibilities:Review the factors affecting short, medium and long term forecast accuracy. Ongoing demand analysis, and management of forecasting tool.Discuss, Analyse, and Understand – Customer Forecasts / Order Patterns / Promotions / Competitor Activity / Range Reviews.Pro-actively manage daily order availability and to analyse any variances between actual order volumes and forecast volumes in line with known availability concerns.Engage with customers pro-actively to confirm and agree forecasts, customer requirements and promotional activities. Using the information to improve forecast accuracy. Build pro-active, collaborative relationships with several internal departments to ensure cross functional awareness of all factors affecting availability and demand. You will be providing detailed Customer KPI Reporting, Analysis and Evaluation.Actively participate in various Supply Chain or business projects/administrative functions and supply support to the Baking Supply Chain Team. Key skills/experience we are looking for:Experience in analysing forecasts, ideally in a fast paced environment.Min of 1 year experience in an FMCG Supply Chain environment.Experience in a customer facing role would be advantageous.Strong IT ability, specifically with MS Excel and the whole MS Office Suite. Commercially aware, with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Proactive approach, with strong organisational skills.
