You will be the first point of call for a customer that has been involved in a motor accident. We are now recruiting for 10 Customer Claims Handlers to our
11th September 2023

Full 6 weeks training at our office
Monday to Friday, no weekends! Hours are done on a rota provided 4 weeks in advance: 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm and 10am to 6pm.
Hybrid working: 3 days at home and 2 days in the office, after passing probation

first point of call via telephone
for a customer who has been involved in a motor accidentYou’ll record, process and settle First Notification of Loss (FNOL) motor claims, in line with our principles and procedures and maintain files within our service standardsYou’ll make sure that all files are reserved accurately and promptly within our reserving philosophy and be personally responsible for ensuring the reserves fully reflect the level of damages on each fileYou’ll process cheques on claims files as required and in accordance with your authoritiesYou’ll identify and champion potential fraudulent claims and action in line with guidelinesYou’ll make sure liability is agreed within existing case law and accident circumstancesYou’ll effectively negotiate with customers, suppliers and all relevant third party representativesYou’ll follow and consider all regulatory requirements at all times, including TCF, DPA, AML and Anti Bribery principles, and ensure all direct reports are compliantYou’ll be compliant with health and safety policies at all timesYou’ll make sure compliance with company
standards/regulations
at all timesAny other reasonable duties as requiredDemonstrable experience from a Customer Service roleKnowledge from a Motor Claims environment (desirable)Understanding of motor insurance processes and the end-to-end customer claims processProblem-solving skills with the ability to adopt a logical approach to resolving problemsComplaint resolution is essentialGood Liability Knowledge and a confident challengerUnderstanding of engineer’s reportsExcellent communication, time management and organisation skillsDesire to learn and develop through continuous trainingEmbrace, embed and incorporate our Company ValuesThis is just the start.
