Our client is a leading House Builder in the North East, seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Care Technician to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exemplary customer service to homeowners, addressing any issues or concerns they may have with their new homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries and concerns, via phone, email, or in person.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of homes, identifying and resolving any defects or issues reported by homeowners.
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to schedule repairs and maintenance work.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed-upon timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and work undertaken.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
  • Assist in the preparation of new homes for handover to customers, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
  • Provide support and guidance to homeowners on the operation and maintenance of their homes.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as construction and sales, to address customer issues effectively.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or housing industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and communication purposes.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and representing our company values.
