The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state of the art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.
Applications are invited for the above position to work as part of the Customer Care Team in our Newtownards site.
The Role
Supporting the Customer Care Manager, this role with be responsible for managing the day-to-day interactions within an established and experienced Customer Care team across Foodservice sites, managing the UK and Irish customer base. The role will ensure all aspects of order management and customer complaint handling are dealt with in an accurate, efficient, and professional manner, escalating to the Customer Care Manager as appropriate.
Emphasis in this role will be placed on leading a team to maintain a high level of service, ensuring customer orders are processed and managed through the supply chain as efficiently as possible.
The Customer Care Team Leader will work in conjunction with and deputise for other Customer Care supervisory/managerial roles where required. The role will also liaise with the Customer Supply Chain Manager and report to them in the absence of the Customer Care Manager.
Travelling to other Lakeland sites can be expected as part of the role.
The Person
The successful candidate must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a degree-level education being desirable. The candidate must have experience of working in a fast-paced office environment within a team and of training others. It would be advantageous if the candidate had experience working in a similar role, successfully managing or supervising people. The candidate will also have strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
This role requires proficient use of Microsoft Office packages, to include Excel and Word. and must also have ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Although not essential, evident experience of working within a FMCG Food Manufacturing environment and using an ERP/Sales Ordering Processing system would be desirable.
